Ground Specialists, Inc. was engaged to assess and stabilize an eroding slope located behind a terminal inside a private mountain resort. Soil movement in the area had begun reducing the usable space behind the terminal which, if left unaddressed, could eventually affect its safety and operation.

GSI implemented a combination of slope stabilization measures, including the construction of mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls. These measures were selected to control erosion, support vegetation growth, and provide durable stabilization suited to a high-elevation site with frequent rainfall. By restoring the eroded area and strengthening the slope, the project helped maintain the terminal’s functionality.
