Slope protection works were carried out to reinforce a slope supporting a large storage tank within a reservoir, ensuring stable ground conditions and continued safe operation.

To address these requirements, GSI implemented engineered stabilization measures anchored by soil nailing and shotcrete, providing structural reinforcement and erosion protection suited to sustained loading conditions.

Site conditions posed challenges due to dense vegetation and limited access, making assessment, excavation, and slope trimming more demanding. While establishing planted vegetation proved difficult during construction, the slope was ultimately covered by naturally established vegetation after completion.

Despite these constraints, the project was successfully completed and met its engineering objectives, resulting in a stable slope that continues to support the structure safely.
