Ground Specialists, Inc. completed slope stabilization works along a mountainous roadway where steep terrain, weak soil conditions, and prolonged heavy rainfall had led to repeated landslides. The project focused on restoring stability, improving drainage behavior, and ensuring long-term safety along this critical access route.

Stabilization works involved removing weakened soil and rebuilding the slope using engineered fill, reinforced with gabion walls, geogrids, and geotextile materials to improve structural support and erosion resistance. The slope was reconstructed progressively in controlled layers, with quality checks carried out throughout to ensure stability and performance.

In steeper sections, additional safety measures were implemented to protect crews working below. The slope was further strengthened using soil nailing, wire mesh, and shotcrete, with vegetative treatment applied at the final stage to support long-term erosion control.

Despite months of weather-related setbacks, the works were successfully completed. The stabilized slope now provides reliable protection for the roadway and improved resilience against future ground movement.
