Slope erosion along a roadway section required stabilization to prevent further damage and reduce risks to motorists. Ground Specialists, Inc. implemented slope protection measures to restore stability in the affected area.

To reinforce the eroded slope, GSI installed gabion wall support using head-sized boulders placed inside zinc-coated steel gabion cages. This provided durable protection against further soil loss and helped secure the slope beside the roadway.

Construction took place under challenging site conditions. Intermittent heavy rains and typhoon activity affected the work schedule and required careful coordination, especially since crews were working on erosion-prone slopes.

Because the work area was within an active roadway corridor, lane closures were implemented during construction to help ensure the safety of both motorists and project personnel.

Despite these challenges, the project was completed within the target schedule, restoring stability to the affected slope section.
