Ground Specialists, Inc. carried out slope protection works for a major expressway infrastructure project where exposed slopes required reinforcement to help prevent erosion and long-term ground instability.

To stabilize the slope, GSI installed soil nails with wire rope support to strengthen the ground and improve slope resistance against movement. Erosion mats were then applied across the slope surface to help control runoff, reduce soil loss, and support the establishment of vegetation over time.

The photos show the project shortly after installation, during the early stages of slope recovery. As vegetation gradually took root, the protected slopes developed into stable, greener surfaces that continue to provide long-term erosion control alongside the structural reinforcement system.

By combining engineered stabilization methods with surface erosion protection, the project helped support the long-term safety and durability of this critical transportation corridor.
