Successful engineering projects depend not only on work in the field, but also on careful planning and coordination behind the scenes. As a Project Engineer and Project Control Engineer, Engr. Aaron Paul Maclang helps keep projects on track by supporting documentation, project approvals, billing, shop drawings, and computer-aided design work throughout each stage of construction.

A Civil Engineering graduate from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela, Engr. Maclang joined GSI shortly after completing his studies and has since contributed to slope protection projects involving shotcreting, soil nailing, and gabion works. He enjoys that every project presents new challenges, giving him opportunities to learn, adapt, and continue developing as an engineer.

Among the experiences he values most are the early projects that helped build his confidence and prepared him to take on greater responsibilities. He credits both his own determination and the guidance of his supervisors and colleagues for helping him grow professionally.

Outside of engineering, Engr. Maclang enjoys art, music, film, and watching anime, believing that maintaining a healthy work-life balance is an important part of continuous growth.

He shares this reminder as a guiding principle:
