A graduate of Technological University of the Philippines – Manila and a licensed Civil Engineer, Troy joined GSI early in his career. In his first year with the company, he has gained hands-on experience with a variety of slope protection projects involving shotcrete, soil nailing, bio-engineering, and lattice beam systems.

One project Troy particularly enjoyed working on involved a lattice beam slope protection system. Although it was relatively small in scale, he appreciated the team’s dedication and quality of workmanship. For Troy, seeing a project progress from planning to completion is one of the most rewarding parts of his work.

Working at GSI has helped Troy grow into a more confident engineer, teaching him to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and see every challenge as a learning experience. He is motivated by the opportunity to solve problems, keep improving, and contribute alongside his team, and credits his family for always believing in him.
