A private residence overlooking a steep cliffside required slope stabilization works to help protect both the structure and the surrounding property from long-term ground movement and erosion risks. Ground Specialists, Inc. was engaged to reinforce the slope under challenging site conditions where careful execution and controlled construction methods were essential.

To stabilize the area, GSI implemented a combination of soil nailing and shotcreting along the exposed slope face. Soil nails were installed to strengthen the ground internally, while shotcrete provided surface protection against erosion and weathering.

Because the residence had already been completed prior to the stabilization works, construction required close attention to site access, surrounding structures, and overall slope condition throughout the operation. The project demanded precision at every stage to ensure effective reinforcement while minimizing disruption to the property.
