Ground Specialists, Inc. carried out slope stabilization works along a barangay road in Iloilo after recurring landslides threatened the safety and accessibility of the roadway, particularly during periods of heavy rainfall.

To help secure the affected slope, GSI implemented the non-frame method, a stabilization system that combines soil nails, base plates, and high-tensile wire ropes to reinforce the slope while allowing vegetation to grow over time. This approach provided structural support while helping the stabilized area blend more naturally with the surrounding environment.

The project was undertaken to help reduce the risk of further slope movement and improve long-term roadway safety for the local community. Barangay roads serve as important access routes for residents, daily transport, and essential services, making reliable slope protection critical in landslide-prone areas.
